What is Click & Grow?

Click & Grow is an easy-to-use electronic smartpot that grows plants without watering and fertilizing. You don’t have to have any knowledge about gardening, instead everything will be taken care by the smart technology.

Click & Grow measures all the necessary parameters and doses an exact amount of water, fertilizer and air, according to the plant’s needs. No more constant watering, guesswork and worrying whether your plant is getting exactly what it needs – the smart technology takes care of all of that for you.  

Click & Grow has two important parts:

• The flowerpot – Click & Grow flowerpot includes electronics, sensors, batteries, a pump and a water reservoir. It does not include seeds, nutrients, a plant or software for growing the plant.
• The plant cartridge – inside a plant cartridge there are seeds, nutrients and special software for growing the plant in the cartridge.

What’s awesome is that the flowerpot and the cartridge work together just like a printer and a toner. Just like you can change the empty printer cartridge, you can change the plant cartridge in the Click & Grow pot. If the plant’s natural life cycle ends, you can remove the old plant cartridge and insert a new one. Immediately the flowerpot will start to grow a new plant! Therefore you can use the Click & Grow smartpot several times by just replacing the plant cartridges.

What do you need to get started?

Remove lids from the pot	Insert 4 AA batteries into battery vault (red). Fill the water reservoir with good quality water up to the indicated water level mark. Do not pour water into the cassette!	Place your pot in a spot with good light conditions.	Wait 1-2 weeks for the cute sprouts to appear.Feel proud!

Click & Grow comes in a starter kit that contains both the smartpot and a plant cartridge and it's very easy to set up.

Add batteries (not included in the starter-kit) and fill the water reservoir with 1 litre good quality tap or bottled water up to the indicated water level mark. Place the smartpot in a spot with good light conditions and you're ready to go! Yes, it's that easy!

There are two things that you need to do on rare occasions.  After a month or two you need to refill the water reservoir and once a year you need to change the batteries. But what's great is that the smart flowerpot will let you know when it's time to add water or to change the batteries. There's no guesswork involved whatsoever! If the flowerpot needs water, it will blink a blue light and if it needs new batteries a red light will blink as a reminder. If everything is alright, a green light will blink once in five minutes.  

What plants can you grow in the Click & Grow flowerpot? 

You can grow plants in the Click & Grow smartpot that are available in the special plant cartridges. The cartridge assortment is very wide – a total of 13 plant cartridges containing both bedding plants and herbs. From cockscomb to mini-tomato, there are plants for every taste!

We're constantly testing new plants to add to our selection. Overall, the Click & Grow plants come in 3 categories: 

• Beautiful – flowers and other bedding plants.

• Fast – plants which sprout very quickly, but won’t have a long life cycle.

• Useful – will include seasoning, herbs and other edible and drinkable plants.
