A lot of people have been asking where our products can be found in retail stores. We have put together a list of stores with addresses for you guys and we will add new locations in the future. So if you need an awesome gift for a friend, family or yourself, you do not have to wait for the delivery guy anymore but you can go and buy the fabulous Click and Grow from the nearest store around.
Thanks to our friends and fans, our first smart garden has done well. Today you can find it in more than 50,000 homes around the world. But we've been tinkering our labs to make it even better. And so we're very proud to unveil the brand new Smart Herb Garden.
Last week we asked our fans and customers to snap a picture of their smart garden and participate in our Spring Photo Contest. We are really excited to see that so many smart gardeners (is this a new term in the making?) have such a beautiful plants and that they shared them with the World.
Winners were authors of pictures that got the most votes, and our jury picked 3 more winners additionally. It was not an easy job to do because there were so many beautiful entries! All receive their favourite plant refills as prizes.

Just about this time 3 years ago a company called Click & Grow was founded. The founder, Mattias Lepp, had a grand vision - to change the way how plants are grown around the world. As the story of how the idea behind Click & Grow was formed is actually quite peculiar itself, lets take a look back..
As someone with a track record of being able to kill a cactus, I was obviously the perfect choice to test out the Click & Crow’s new smart gardens, although I call them pots. No pun intended. So basically, if those poor plants survive me, the company could sell these pots to… well, pretty much to everyone. You could buy the pot for your daughter and let her imaginary friend take care of it.
To begin with, let me give you a bit of an introduction…
My name is Vanessa and I am one of the Click & Grow brand ambassadors. I originally come from Estonia (which by the way, makes Click & Grow even more special and close to heart for me!), but I haven’t really lived there for the past 7 years. I’ve spent quite a bit of time living in Italy, Hungary & the US. Working as a consultant for a marketing consultancy means long hours and a lot of travel – typically I go on business trips on a weekly basis.

Hey all! I've had a lot of questions lately about suitable plant lamps. So here is a tiny commented list with suitable products. If you are interested - check them out! 1. Plant LEDs - Check here. Blue and red leds are the most energy efficient plant lighting technology. A bit expensive though. Additional lighting with leds will produce heavy crops fast, but the purple light might not suit with all interiors. 2. Energy saving bulbs - Like this one. Almost every energy saving bulb will do! Best are the ones emitting "cool white" spectrum. You can find them in every hardware store and they fit almost all lamp sockets. A great and budget friendly technology, which will speed up plant growing. |

Lately I have had lots of questions about how to increase yields and get the most out of a Click & Grow flower pot. As watering and fertilizing are taken care of (we have spent years on the "really best" programs), the most impressive effect can be achieved with hardcore lighting. So what is the meanest lighting technology out there? I will put here a comparison table with luxes (light power in lumens per square-metre). Take a note, that the more light a plant will get, the faster it will grow. It is almost impossible to have too much light. For example commercial busy lizzy growers recommend at least 15 000 lux for 8 hrs a day. But this is hardcore. |
