Watering Globe

Description
Keep your houseplants hydrated for 1 to 2 weeks without daily watering. This decorative glass globe helps maintain consistent moisture levels by gradually releasing water as your soil dries. Perfect for vacations, busy schedules or potted plants that need steady moisture (like freshly transplanted Click & Grow herbs).
The globe is made from transparent glass and is refillable and reusable.
To use, start by making a small hole in the soil with a stick or pencil to loosen any compacted areas. Hold the globe upright and fill it with clean water. Quickly flip it upside down and push the stem gently but securely into the hole.
For best results, use in pots 4 -7 in / 11 - 18 cm tall. Refill the globe every 4 to 14 days depending on your plant type, pot size and environmental conditions. Clean regularly with warm water or mild vinegar to prevent algae buildup. Use a narrow bottle brush or pipe cleaner if needed to clean the inside.
We do not recommend use of the Watering Globe for plants that prefer dry conditions like cacti or succulents.

It's significantly easier and requires no plant knowledge or constant monitoring. Click & Grow gardens, equipped with grow lights and passive watering systems, use proprietary Plant Pods that provide everything the plants need. Compared to traditional pot-and-soil or complex hydroponic systems, there's minimal maintenance and fewer chances for things to go wrong. Our Plant Pods come pre-seeded with all necessary nutrients, require no water quality or pH checks, and need less frequent cleaning. Simply plug it in, add pods and water, then do occasional plant care for best results. Visit our support page for all tips & tricks.
Yes, but growth success rates are significantly lower compared to using our Plant Pods, which the gardens are specifically designed for. Plus, the watering wicks may not work effectively with all soil types or growing mediums. However, we do offer seedless plant pods, which you can use to grow your own seeds at the higher success rate our Plant Pod technology ensures.
Sprouting and harvest times vary by plant. Most plants sprout within a week and are ready for their first harvest within a few weeks, depending on the variety. Leafy greens grow the fastest while fruiting plants take the longest, and most herbs and flowers fall somewhere in between. For specific timelines, check pod packaging, our support page or app page
Click & Grow gardens are not traditional hydroponics systems, but they can be considered an advanced version of it. Traditional hydroponics replaces soil with growing medium, adds nutrients to the water, and relies on artificial light. We simplify the process by pre-packing nutrients and seeds directly into the growing medium, thus eliminating the need for nutrient mixing, water quality testing, and frequent cleaning required by traditional hydroponic systems.
Nothing. Our gardens are the easiest and most foolproof way to grow plants.
Yes, in fact, most of our customers have pets. Click & Grow gardens actually make growing plants easier for pet owners by reducing the risk of tipped-over pots and messy soil spills. Plus, many pets, like rabbits and other furry friends, love the fresh produce from our gardens. However, it’s important to keep in mind that certain parts of some plants (like tomato stalks) are not safe for people or pets to eat. Visit our support page to learn more.
